Emblation Awarded 'Best New Product' for Swift at Made In Scotland Awards
Emblation received their first UK award for Swift at this year’s Business Insider Made In Scotland awards. CEO Gary Beale was presented with the ‘Best New Product’ award at the awards ceremony on Wednesday 19th May at Glasgow’s Science Centre.
Emblation received this award in recognition of the success that Swift has had since its official launch into the Podiatry market in September 2016. The microwave therapy is now being used in over 130 clinics throughout the UK and over 6000 treatments have been carried out using the device.
Gary Beale commented: “This award is a fantastic triumph for our company, and recognition for the determination and level of innovation that our small team from central Scotland have produced.”
This award is the latest recognition of Emblation’s achievements, with the company also winning Innovation Collaboration at the Scottish Life Sciences awards; highly commended Small Business of the year at the British Engineering Excellence Awards; Outstanding performance at the Clacks awards and Innovator of the Year at last year’s Made in Scotland awards.
